We create a space where students feel comfortable discussing periods and gain confidence in their body for a positive period experience.

Year 5-8

Part 1: Positive Periods

A 90-minute session to prepare for periods, understand your body, and turn fear into confidence for a positive period experience.

Content includes:

  •  Reproductive anatomy myths and facts

  • What a period is and why they happen

  •  Understanding mood and energy fluctuations in the cycle

  • Why periods are important for health

  • Approaching your first period – how to tell it’s nearing, and how to be prepared

  • Looking after yourself – nutrition and exercise for a healthy body and mind

  • Period pain – what is normal/abnormal and how to manage

  • What a typical period and menstrual cycle is like

  • Period Products discussed and demonstrated, including reusable options

  •  Question box – all those tricky questions answered!

Year 7+8

Part 2: Navigating periods

A 90-minute session to explore the menstrual cycle and hormones, helping minimize the impact on students' well-being.

Content includes:

  • The Menstrual cycle phases and role of hormones

  • The emotional, physical and behavioural changes during the cycle and how to work with them

  • Cycle tracking for beginners

  • What to expect for the first few years

  • Teen reproductive health issues – Endometriosis and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome

  • How to look after yourself for happy, healthy hormones

  • Sustainable periods: Re-usable period products discussed and demonstrated

  • Q+A

Parent Evening.

A 60-minute session to equip parents with up-to-date information to better support their children. This is an optional add on when booking a school program.

Content includes:

  • Current period education and the effect on our children

  • Why comprehensive period education is needed for our children

  • How to normalise periods in your home

  • Overview of student presentation

  • Reusable period products demonstrated and discussed

  • Q+A
